At BeyondFrames Studio, we believe your portrait should work for you — however you decide to use it. That's why every completed portrait order comes with full commercial use rights at no extra cost.

1. WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH EVERY ORDER

When you purchase and receive your final high-resolution portrait from BeyondFrames Studio, your license includes:

  • Personal use — home display, gifts, personal social media
  • Commercial use — marketing materials, business branding, merchandise, digital products, print-on-demand, publishing, and advertising
  • Worldwide, perpetual rights — no geographic restrictions, no expiration date
  • The right to modify, crop, resize, and create derivative works
  • No attribution to BeyondFrames Studio required

2. WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH YOUR PORTRAIT

  • Print on merchandise for sale (apparel, mugs, canvas prints, accessories)
  • Use in paid advertising and marketing campaigns
  • Include in business websites, landing pages, and presentations
  • Publish as book covers or editorial content
  • Use in app and software interfaces
  • Sell as part of a product or digital download bundle
  • Use in client work and commissioned projects

3. WHAT IS NOT PERMITTED

Even with open commercial use, the following are still prohibited:

  • Claiming you are the original human artist who created the artwork
  • Trademarking the specific portrait as your own original creation
  • Reselling or redistributing BeyondFrames Studio’s proprietary portrait creation service, methods, or technology
  • Using the portrait in illegal, defamatory, or adult content
  • Using the portrait to train or develop competing portrait creation services or software
  • Creating services that compete directly with BeyondFrames Studio by using our portraits as samples without permission

4. OWNERSHIP & IP

You own the specific portrait artwork created for your order. BeyondFrames Studio keeps the intellectual property rights in its proprietary portrait creation process, artistic methods, and the service that produced your artwork. Because this license is non-exclusive, our portrait style is available to all customers — but your specific portrait, created from your photo and your story, is yours alone to use freely.

5. NO SEPARATE PURCHASE NEEDED

There is no extra fee, no application process, and no separate certificate required for commercial use. Your order confirmation email serves as proof of your right to use the artwork commercially. Just keep your order receipt for your records.
